belief in evolution should be the new litmus test

This is unacceptable thinking. As an educator, I don't mind being sensitive around people's beliefs. My job is to challenge them. Evolution is difficult because people construe it as antithetical to religion. Maybe it is. But that is why it's hard for them to accept it as fact. Ironically, they have no problems believing in other forms of science. I feel sorry for them, until I realize that they represent half of our government.

These people are dangerous because of these beliefs. They can have them if they want, but do not let them exert these beliefs on you. Stand up for rationality.
